Profile of Mrs Sun-Basorun

Mrs Sun-Basorun is the founder of the Olive Tenders Ministries. She has a passion and enthusiasm for teenagers to start and grow in their relationship with Christ and she has been doing this work with immense sensitivity of heart for over 30 years.

In the last 26 years, she has carried this God-given mandate through the establishment of the Olive Conference and the Salt and Light camp. While the former is aimed at raising a breed of youth influencers passionate about nurturing the present and future generation, the latter is an annual Christian Summer camp for teenagers to have life-changing experiences and encounters as they get to learn about God in amazing new ways.

She enjoys reading, spending time with family and most of all, passing on the baton of faith to the next generation.

In her own words, she says “the source of strength for me has been my faith and my relationship with God. Knowing that whatever I’m doing, God wants me to do it and He gives me staying power.”
